Raden Almadea, a 2021 student of the Communication Management study program, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University. The student who is often called Alma, is one of the outstanding students in Communication Management. Alma already has many achievements in the academic field, namely debate.

In 2020 Alma won the most prestigious and competitive debate competition at the high school level. Namely, the national level LDBI (Indonesian Language Debate Competition) organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. Before being able to get to the national stage, Alma had to take part in a provincial level selection to determine the delegates for each province. Different from the selection in previous years, due to the pandemic, the selection was carried out online. This actually provided a greater challenge for Alma because the enthusiasm and number of participants who participated in the selection became greater. This happens because the online system that applies causes participants to be unlimited by distance and time so they only need to upload the debate video to YouTube. .

From the hundreds of participants who participated in the debate selection at the provincial level, Alma managed to become one of the 3 provincial representatives and joined a team. After passing the provincial stage, this is a matter of pride and considerable responsibility for Alma because she will carry the name of the province. Therefore, Alma and the team practiced hard for 3 months. They spent their days together from morning to night, every day. Arriving on the day of the national competition, made this experience very memorable. Because, Alma and the team will compete with great people from each province in the competition.

Competing against 34 provinces provided a very memorable experience because the competitive level was getting harder each round. Even so, Alma was also happy because during the training quarantine she gained a lot of new knowledge in each of her sparring. Because of her memorable experience, Alma hopes that this year she can return to participate in KDMI organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
