This year\u2019s program was held in collaboration with the West Java Forest Plant Certification and Seed Agency (<em>SPTH<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event serves as both a contribution to environmental preservation and a commemoration of the student association\u2019s anniversary. <em>Mankom Menanam<\/em> aims to foster ecological awareness through hands-on tree planting and the rehabilitation of degraded land. As a strategic partner, SPTH provided high-quality seeds, supervision, and forestry education. This collaboration marks a significant step in aligning academic communities with government technical agencies to advance sustainable conservation programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s planting continues an environmental initiative launched in previous years. In 2024, HIMA Mankom partnered with the Ir. H. Djuanda Grand Forest Park (<em>Tahura<\/em>) for a similar conservation effort within a protected forest area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe want this activity to serve as direct education for students while contributing to real solutions for climate change and land degradation,\u201d said a representative from the organizing committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a growing commitment to the cause, HIMA Mankom hopes that future <em>Mankom Menanam<\/em> programs will expand to wider rehabilitation areas and build more strategic partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This activity is part of the Communication Management Study Program\u2019s efforts to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 15: <strong>Life on Land<\/strong>, which focuses on the protection, restoration, and sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems. This includes sustainable forest management, preventing desertification, restoring degraded land, and halting biodiversity loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Contact: Muhammad Farrel Haifa
