After almost three years of being held online, the Department of Human Resources and Organizational Development of the Communication Management Student Association, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran again held department orientation activities for new students of the Communication Management study program “INTRO” 2022 offline at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran. This orientation activity involved all new Communication Management students and also several stakeholders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

INTRO is an orientation and initial regeneration activity for new Communication Management students in an integrated manner which aims to make new Communication Management students know things related to their Study Program and have several abilities, including being able to adapt to the world of lectures and being able to understand important aspects of the Communication Management Study Program which includes job prospects, study programs, and student associations. The target of the INTRO 2022: MAXIMIZE regeneration activity is all Communication Management Students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University Batch 2022 with a target number of 84 people who aim to make new students of the Communication Management Study Program able to achieve these abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initial regeneration activity of the 2022 Communication Management new students has a theme, namely maximize, with the grand goal of this regeneration is that 2022 Communication Management Students can maximize all their potential and skills as Communication Management students. The purpose of this regeneration activity is to form new Communication Management students who have basic skills and knowledge in the field of Communication Management, Forming new Communication Management students’ understanding of the profile of Communication Management graduates and their role in society, Forming new Communication Management students into cadres who consciously know and understand the seven basic principles of the Communication Management Student Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intro 2022: Maximize has a theme park theme with 7 rides which begins with the Ticket Booth, which is an opening series held offline in Building 2 Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University. In this series, new students enter the room which will then conduct an interview session with one of the Intro 2022 committee: Maximize and can only leave the room if they have completed the interview session with the Intro 2022 committee: Maximize committee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the new Communication Management students will enter the first ride, the Purple Castle. This series begins with the Intro 2022: Maximize Opening Ceremony which includes remarks by the Intro 2022: Maximize Project Officer, Chair of the Communication Management Association, Chair of BEM Fikom Unpad, and Chair of the Fikom Unpad Study Program. Then, the Intro 2023: Maximize event was inaugurated by the Head of Study Program marked by beating the gong. Then, representatives of Communication Management Students 2022 were put on name tags by the Head of Study Program as a form of Mentee inauguration. Furthermore, the event continued with an interactive talk show conducted by the Communication Management lecturers to the Mentees regarding the curriculum, the difference between Mankom and other study programs, lecturer profiles, bureaucratic flow of the study program, study program layout, and lecture etiquette. After the delivery of the material by the lecturers, the Mentees were given a question and answer session guided by the MC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After completing the first ride, new students of Communication Management will continue the second ride, namely purple pathway, which is one of the series organized in the form of interactive seminars that discuss the profile of Communication Management graduates, namely Strategic Communication, Marketing Communication, and Human Resources Communication Development. The speakers in this series are alumni who will present an overview of the world of work that will be faced after graduating from Communication Management to Mentees. This series is interactive with the use of various tools such as question and answer sessions, reviews of presentations from mentees to games with prizes involving mentees and speakers. This series was closed with the handover of certificates to the speakers and documentation with the speakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then in the third ride, namely Purple Knight, new Communication Management students can get to know the Communication Management Student Association organization and the BPA. Then continued with an interactive session to get to know Hima and BPA Communication Management more deeply through a question and answer session by Mentee to Hima and BPA Communication Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, new Communication Management students will enter the Running Mankom ride which is the fourth series of Intro 2022: Maximize. This series is in the form of post to post spread across the FIKOM Unpad area. In this series each group will get the opportunity to visit each post. Each post has INCREDIBLE values or principles that every mentee must know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then in the fifth ride, new students of Communication Management were assigned to design a series of gatherings with the aim of introducing the class of 2022 to members of the active student association of communication management, as well as being a forum to bring the class of 2022 closer to members of the active Student Association of Communication Management. This series is also a place to provide experience in making events together and become the first step in organizing an event as a class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the last ride will be preceded by the opening of the Master of Ceremony (MC), then the MCs read out the rules that must be obeyed by the Mentees during the series. This activity is followed by calling groups in turn to mobilize to the presentation room. The presentation is hybrid, where the judges consisting of Communication Management Lecturers and practitioners will assess the final results of the campaign carried out by the Mentee. The presentation lasted for 25 minutes, which was divided into 10 minutes of presentation session by the Mentee, 10 minutes of question and answer session by the jury and 5 minutes for mobilization back to Moestopo Hall. After the presentation session was over, the Mentees gathered back at Moestopo Hall and the event was closed by the Master of Ceremony (MC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After passing all the rides, new Communication Management students must take part in the Purple carnival ride which is the official closing of the entire Hima Mankom 2022 regeneration event. The event took place in one day but the flow was divided into 2 different tensions. When the event began, Mentees were greeted formally, followed by an evaluation conducted by HRD. After the atmosphere became sacred, the next order of events was a speech as well as the “last speech” from the Intro 2022: Maximize Project Officer where at the end of the speech the committee pinned the set jacket to all Mentees with a lined up position in front of the Amphiteater stage. This moment became one of the most important core of the final series of Purple Carnival. after that the event continued with several performances from the Intro 2022: Maximize committee and Mentee 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
