Graduate Learning Outcomes (GLO)

The learning outcomes are designed by taking into account the development of knowledge and the needs of employment in the field of communication management. Based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (INQF), the learning objectives of the Communication Management Study Program are at level 6.

The knowledge and special skills of education in Communication Management Study Programme include mastering the concepts, theories and research of strategic communication; mastering the concepts and theories of leadership and organisation; mastering concepts and theories related to the latest information and communication technology (ICT) for the purpose of social change, commercial, and the achievement of organisational objectives; analysing social and cultural systems that exist in society; mastering the concepts, theories and research of marketing communications; analysing the business ecosystem; mastering the concepts, theories and research of marketing communications; analysing the business ecosystem; mastering the concepts, theories and research of communication for human resource development; analysing the need for developing communication competence of human resources in the organisation; thinking high order (high order thinking skills) which includes the ability to think critically, logically, reflectively, and creatively; skilled in public speaking, scientific and creative writing, effective listening, and critical reading; analysing situations, formulate communication problems, collaborate and compete to develop alternative solutions creatively in the context of non-profit and for-profit organisations; applying the results of strategic communication research, marketing communications, and communications for the development of human resources for the purpose of social change, commercial and organisational goals achievement; designing, implementing and evaluating communication strategies for the purpose of social and commercial change; providing consulting services and solve communication problems for the purpose of social and commercial change; being capable of entrepreneurship (entrepreneurship) in the field of communication; designing and providing communication training for organisational HR based on principles, philosophies, theories, and models of adult education; and conducting in-depth and comprehensive studies on the implementation of organisational communication systems to increase organisational effectiveness.
